MIA thread
I have seen this in a number of other boards. This will help with the announcements of our comings and goings.
The victories from those skilled in warfare are not considered of great wisdom or courage, because their victories have no miscalculations

I shall return, hopefully, for the nth time. I started floating in despondency for a few days, got out of it, but forgot to return.

I went to soul survivor (big Christian summercamp thing) for 5 days, so I couldn't go on the computer for a week.
Come to think of it, it was down in Stafford... I could have tried persuading Dragonobbsessie to go to soul survivor, since it's in Stafford. Nevermind, though that would make him the 2nd person off a forum I've met IRL - and the other guy also lives in Stafford. Hmmm...
It's a small world indeed, though - Dragonobsessie does the same course, at the same university, and is in the same year, as my brother. Odd how that happened.

I am still present! I just started moving out and got my job running pretty heavily into my time, but I am still here.

My sister's going to that this week.
I'm sort of here, but not really

Wow. . .It's so dead here! I finally stopped by to check things out and get back into the groove of things, but there's no groove! It's saddening. I was really looking forward to another RP. If any of you creators are reading this, I'm going to remain lurking in the shadows. If y'all come up with something good, I'm game. Message me, or I'll just find it on my own. I'll be checking in every other day.

Buhamat, great to see you! I hope you read this. Welcome back to the boards. They are hollow right now, and I understand why, but they are still here.

Buhamat... I recognise you, but I don't remember if it's because I read your old posts too often or if it's because you were active when I joined.
Fyre, you have FaceBook, right? I'm in Exx's friends list (Brandon Griffith). Add me if you want. My pic is of a wolf.

To be honest, I can't believe that I remembered the URL address. I guess this is a some what formal return. I have been preoccupied with a new job and certification exams but I have returned and it will be easier for me to post again since my classes have been switched to online.
Now I have to get to know everybody again.

Re: MIA thread
I know I said a while back that I would be checking every other day, but life got the better of me. But now, I'm done with all my training and what-not. I actually have a bit of time to myself. I can't promise I'll be on every day, but I will try my darnest to check back regularly. (i know, i say those words a lot)

Re: MIA thread
Kojack, there are only a few people who have joined and stayed since you left. So there's not much catching up to do.
Errska, I'm practically in the same boat. Work and life in general is cuttiing into my 'net time. I've been looking in here every so often and posting when I get the chance.
But, this place isn't the only forum I know that's dying. I'm a member of at least 3 other forums in a similar state. RPing is dying on all of them faster than the forums themselves are. (CyberConnect LLC, G.E.E.K., The Gamer's Alliance, and here.)
The people who used to start great RPs are older and getting caught by work, college, etc. The newer generation isn't learning from the older generation anymore because the older generation is missing. Particularly on small sites such as those I mentioned.
It truely is saddening...

Woot another of the oldies, Nice to meet you, I try to be on usually but this last couple of months I've been a tad inactive because of college life... Enough said... Luckily for me though its the holidays and next semester shouldn't be as bad as the last one.
